MIDTOWN PRICES UP WHILE SALES NUMBERS ARE DOWN

The price for homes in the Midtown area including Yonge and Lawrence, Yonge and Eglinton, Davisville Village and Leaside continued to increase in October with average prices coming in at 5% over the same time last year.

There was a pretty good supply of homes for sale in most areas and while there were multiple offers on a lot of properties there were still some pretty good deals to be had with prices ranging from a low of 94% to a high of 117% and an overall average of 103% of listing price for sales.

At the beginning of November there are 24 homes in Leaside for sale and 26 in the Davisville Village area with a further 12 in Yonge and Eglinton - Yonge and Lawrence areas.
